Remaining One began with an uncomfortable question: what happens when a species becomes rare enough to fit inside a statistic? We decided to make that statistic the boundary of a physical edition.

The result is deliberately restrained. A species, a finite run, a free reservation, a size and a number. The object is simple because the idea should be legible.
